Our History
Born from the Camino.
Living for the Camino.
It all started in 2014 when Carlos, our founder, completed his first French Way and was deeply transformed by the experience. Seeing how many pilgrims arrived without proper preparation, he decided to create Step To Santiago: an agency born from the heart of Galicia so that no one lives the Camino without the support they deserve.
Today we are a team of 12 professionals, all pilgrims with multiple Caminos behind them. We don't sell tourist packages; we organize unique life experiences, taking care of every detail so you only have to walk.
Based in Santiago de Compostela, we are local specialists who know the Camino inch by inch, from the best hostels to the shortcuts that don't appear on the maps.
